Hi guys,

I just bought a Lenovo IdeaPad C340 and an external monitor to use for work. However, the monitor is not working. It is running KDE Neon (Ubuntu 18.04)
First of all, I tested the cable in another notebook and it worked. I tested the monitor in another computer and it is also working.

My concern is that xrandr is not listing the HDMI port:

I had to change a few setting in the BIOS to the able to install KDE Neon. Could this be the issue?
I have no idea of what to do next...

Hi!
I have the same problem with an asus laptop with ryzen5 3550, according of i had been reading is a problem with kernel, the only solution i found is updated the kernel to 5.4 but i do not try it yet, no until the next week. I will post the results.
If you have any update, please, post a reply.

Hi!
I have 2 graphics cards, amd vega 8 integrated and NVIDIA 1050 dedicated. In my case is a problem with ryzen5 3x and kernel.
Can you tell me what changes did you do on bios? Maybe is a different problem.
