I just installed all KDE Neon 18.04 Updates (including HWE).
Now, after restart, several graphics in the system are broken/scrambled (especially tool-tips, message boxes, K-Menu pages, tray menus, the NoScript menu in FireFox, etc). Something went very wrong. I just was informed that the same happened with the (totally different) Dell systems in my university. The systems are very difficult to use in this state. Is the bug known? What can I do to workaround/fix it quickly?

Can you boot using the previous kernel (5.0.0.37) from the grub menu? Does it work OK? If yes, then the problem is with new 5.3 hwe kernel. |

The broken rendering appears for both, 5.3 and 5.0 Kernel.
That is a pain. Also the Qt ComboBox pop-ups are scrambled and rendered useless. Interesting part is, that not all tool-tips and all start-menu pages are broken. It seems only specific ones are damaged. E.g. in the tray the Akregator pop up is ok while the Qt Creator pop up and all system-pop-ups (clipboard etc.) are scrambled. Any more ideas? |

Todays batch of updates fixed the issue. Don't know which of the updates exactly.
