Installing remmina

Sun Jan 26, 2020 7:49 pm
Moin,

I used to use remmina to login via remote login to my Raspberry Pis. But now remmina is gone, I can't install it again:

Code: Select all
renner@solaris:~$ sudo pkcon install remmina
[...]
Fatal error: The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  remmina: Depends: libssh-4 (>= 0.6.1) but it is not going to be installed

renner@solaris:~$ dpkg --list libssh-4

||/ Name                                    Version                  Architecture             Description
ii  libssh-4:amd64                          0.9.0-1+18.04+bionic+bui amd64                    tiny C SSH library (OpenSSL flavor)

All packages are up to date.

Any hint? Thanks in advanced!

Oh thank you. i suspected there was a connection to the priorities of the Ubuntu packages. But it is easier that way, it works again.

For sure it is not working on my desktop, after installing remmina following the instructions on the web page.
Simply, It does start and then disappear
I saw whether the version of libssh is installed and seems perfect.
dpkg --list libssh-4
Deseado=desconocido(U)/Instalar/eliminaR/Purgar/retener(H)
| Estado=No/Inst/ficheros-Conf/desempaqUetado/medio-conF/medio-inst(H)/espera-disparo(W)/pendienTe-disparo
|/ Err?=(ninguno)/requiere-Reinst (Estado,Err: mayúsc.=malo)
||/ Nombre Versión Arquitectura Descripción
+++-=======================================-========================-========================-========================
ii libssh-4:amd64 0.9.0-1+18.04+bionic+bui amd64 tiny C SSH library (OpenSSL flavor)

Also the correct daily ppa is installed, as it is explained in https://remmina.org/how-to-install-remmina/
dpkg --list remmina
Deseado=desconocido(U)/Instalar/eliminaR/Purgar/retener(H)
| Estado=No/Inst/ficheros-Conf/desempaqUetado/medio-conF/medio-inst(H)/espera-disparo(W)/pendienTe-disparo
|/ Err?=(ninguno)/requiere-Reinst (Estado,Err: mayúsc.=malo)
||/ Nombre Versión Arquitectura Descripción
+++-=======================================-========================-========================-===================================================ii remmina 1.4.1+ppa202003012250.r0 amd64 GTK+ Remote Desktop Client

What could I have been missing?
While executing from the command line gave me this error: remmina: error while loading shared libraries: libssh_threads.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
