I’m trying to install KDE Neon but once I get past the Software section and I hit continue I get this error message saying
“ubi-partman failed with exit code 141. Further information may be found in /var/log/syslog. Do you want to try running this step again before continuing? If you do not your installation may fail entirely or may be broken”. But when I hit retry I get the same message. Keep in mind I haven’t gotten to the Disk setup part and if I hit ignore the installer completely skips the partitioning section so I can’t change anything in the partition table and I have no idea whether the installer will dual boot with Windows or whether it will wipe my hard drive. Is it safe for me to ignore the error message and continue with the installation? |
