Hello,
since the upgrade to Version 15.18.1 KDE asks me if opened windows should be closed and complains about processes still running inside those windoes, like "bash" in a terminal window or "dolphin". Previous version of KDE did not pose this question, and that pop up question delays the actual shut down for several seconds. In the system settings I choose the option to "restore last session", and that option has been activated for years now. I already tried to "start a new session", but no change there. Is this a (known) bug or do I need to activate any more options to get the old behaviour back? |

Check if your sessions option got changed by the update: System Settings / Startup and Shutdown / Desktop Session - "Restore previous session" should be selected (at least this is where the session is in 5.17.5). If this is already selected perhaps it's a new bug.
Currently running KDE Neon 5.22.5 and 5.19.4 (with Windows 10 in a VM); migrated from Linux Mint 17.3

After updating to 5.18.2 the effect is gone: no more questions about windows to be closed.
So I'd say this thread can be closed instead. ![]() |
