I've previously installed KDE Neon based on Ubuntu 19.10(?), and was wondering what is the "correct" procedure for upgrading to one based on Ubuntu 20.04LTS (release-upgrade)?
I know how to do it with apt in Ubuntu, but what is the procedure in KDE Neon - what commands to use, files to edit, pop-ups to expect...? I've been checking both here and in Ubuntu-forums - as well as checking blogs and general googleing, and have come across several (mutually exclusive) ways of doing it, so I would like some suggestion for the recommended/correct way of upgrading. |

KDE Neon is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and there is currently no official procedure to upgrade it to 20.04 base. When the upgrade procedure is ready then it will be announced ![]() |

Does anyone know approximately when the 20.04LTS based version of Neon will be available?
I have an old computer I want to update from a many year old ubuntu - would like to go to Neon, but don't want to have to update again if this is going to be ready in a month... thanks |

When Neon based on 20.04 is available, you will be notified via a system tray notification.
UNTIL THEN, upgrades should not be attempted. |
