Plasma GUI unable to boot on default

Fri May 22, 2020 10:58 am
Hello

II messed up the plasma shell.. I've removed and reinstalled. Now i have to use bash command: startx to run KDE GUI. Where and how set it by default on boot-up? Any ideas?

pkcon refreash and pkcon update - doesn't work

I suppose some configs are removed.. No idea.. Maybe this file shouldn't been empty?
usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d

KDE Neon 5.18.5

Hi,

I had a similar problem and now I solved re-installing plasma-desktop
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install plasma-desktop

Make a try, maybe it works also for you. Also use
Code: Select all
apt-get --help
it helps you to find some useful command to clean, remove, etc.
