Since the most recent update, the KDE network speed monitor only displays relative speeds, with no text legends showing the actual speed numbers for sent and received data. I have tried configuring the monitor but without success. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I found this network widget to be an acceptable solution to the missing speed data. It's called netspeed and is available in the kde store at the URL below.
