Hello all,

i'am using here KDE Neon 5.19 on some Computers. On one of them i have since about 3 month a strange problem. Sometimes Dolphin, Kate, Kdevelop... did not open anymore. After some time, or i logout it is working again. So i was going with strace to search for the error. And yes i found an traceability situation. Because in Strace is one different thing if it is not working:

inotify_init1(IN_CLOEXEC)               = -1 EMFILE (Too many open files)
...

On kate is the same. So every time i close some apps, dolphin and other opens again. So is there some limitation for open files?
