Hi!

A few days ago I have crossed the river and made a hard disc install of KDE Neon on my laptop. This is not my first try of using KDE (long time XFCE user here) and this time everything clicked for me. Like everything.

The system just works. I was able to configure everything without bugs, googling problems and can continue on my way without the system standing in the way.

Good job KDE. I hope to stay here for a while!

I have installed kde neon two days back. At the time of installation in the end, reboot did not work. Had to manually restart the computer. On login I was faced with a black screen, no wallpaper or any way to configure it. I have later installed Appearance package and on subsequent reboots the problem has been solved. Is it necessary to install Appearance package to get wall papers, is there no default wallpapers in kde neon? . Anyway now it all works.
