My installation is neon bionic(ubuntu 18.04) on a macbook pro 2016(without T2).

I am using Wi-Fi to connect to network at home.

After booting, before login, I can't ssh login or ping from other machines.

I need to login to KDE, and after a while, the Wi-Fi adapter got disactivated and activated. Then I can access it remotely.

You need to go into the network connection connection, and set the option 'all users may connect to this network' for your wifi.
