MPD / Cantata don't work

Fri Jul 10, 2020 10:42 am
Hello,
I use KDE neon user-edition.

Since one of the last updates, I guess for plasma, I have trouble playing music with cantata, that works for a long time without any trouble.
Cantata starts normally, but when I try to start playing a song, an error-message occurs:
Code: Select all
MPD reports an error: Failed to decode ... [path/name.mp3] ... No such file or directory

No need to say that the piece is not playing.

Any idea?

mpd starts via an desktop file in ~/.config/autostart:
Code: Select all
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Music Player Daemon
Comment=start MPD as user when you log in
Exec=mpd
StartupNotify=false
Terminal=false
Hidden=false
