Sounds like it may have been uninstalled? Try reinstalling it from Discover.

Tried reinstalling but it fails for a dependency plasma-widgets-addons

plasma-widgets-addons : Depends: qml-module-org-kde-purpose but it is not going to be installed

so i try to install the qml-module-org-kde-purpose package and get this

qml-module-org-kde-purpose : Depends: libkf5purpose-bin (= 5.72.0+p18.04+git20200712.0121-0) but it is not going to be installed

now i am in dependency hell over an update on friday

Just an update to this.
Luckily i have a clonezilla backup made a week before this update. I restored the image and noticed the update from friday says libkf5purpose-bin and plasma-widgets-addons will be removed in order to install a whole raft of programs in the system but none of the reinstalled programs are either of the two to be removed

This appears to be fixed in a later update. Everything is fine now
