Another false Neon update that tried to install 5.4.0-42 came through today - and I had to roll back to 5.3.0-62.
This is the second update in the last few days that did that - and as before, it had no screen control and no network access. Curiously after rolling back, the updates don't appear again. Is there some setting I need to adjust? |

I wouldn't call it a 'false neon update' - more like a failed kernel update. My kernel updated to 5.4.0-42 via 'Discover' and is working just fine. Before that it had been at 5.4.0-40. Have you tried upgrading the kernel using apt or synaptic? |

The Kernel is not depending on neon. The kernel comes from Ubuntu. Did you use nvidia graphics? viewtopic.php?f=309&t=167114
What networkcard you are using? With new kernel, you can see your networkcard @the cmd? |
