[Solved] Package retrieval error

Tue Aug 11, 2020 6:23 am
Earlier today I got the notification that the 20.04 upgrade was available. I'm having an odd error though, there are a couple of packages that it claims cannot be downloaded, although i can paste the URL in Firefox and download them just fine. I have tried with Ubuntu's default servers, and also a mirror in sources.list but both display the same error.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

I also get the same error on the same packages using the command line
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo do-release-upgrade

Got it working by manually downloading the packages, now three, that the upgrader couldn't download, and moving them to /var/cache/apt/archives
Code: Select all
sudo cp libproxy-tools_0.4.15-10ubuntu1_amd64.deb libqmi-proxy_1.24.8-1_amd64.deb libmbim-proxy_1.22.0-2_amd64.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/
