no soundcard detected after upgrade 20.04 - Solved

Hello, I hope this is the correct place to post this. I had an update/upgrade today to 20.04. The process seemed to go well but after the laptop rebooted (Dell M4700) the soundcard is no longer recognized.

Any ideas at all?

After reading thru a few threads, I solved the issue with this

sudo apt purge timidity-daemon

Sound is back and running again
