Default audio output reset on restart problem

Motherboard sound card for desktop sounds and EVO USB audio interace for audio stuff I work with. I set (gozzilion times) the output from motherboard card as default output device, but on restart KDE, EVO output is selected as default. Since obviously KDE soud manager does not have any effect on storing default audio output setting, please tell me where is the config file for this. Kind regards Armando PS: why even bother making UI if it's not even working ... #askingForAFriend #sarcasm

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11 FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
