Hi
I have positioned my widgets carefully on the screen to maximize visibility, but to my surprise, they are in the center of the screen after each restart. Is there a way to lock the position? I have not changed screen resolution between the reboots. Very annoying :),

Manjaro KDE 5.3 (installed a week ago and updated as of today)
Huawei Matebook X Pro with 1920x1200 resolution.

Hello,
I have the same problem. And in addition the positions also change when switching activities.

My system:
Code: Select all
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20210415
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

2 Monitors:
    Main Monitor: 1920 * 1080
    Secondary Monitor: 1280 * 1024

X-Server Dimension: 3200 x 1080 Pixel (844 x 285mm)

Kernel Version: 5.11.12-1-default
OS Type: 64-bit
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
Memory: 13.6 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics

Is this just a wrong setting from my side, or is it worth a bug-report. (It is very annoying for my use-case....)

Here https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=164802 I found a workaround if this happens only at restart.
But has switching activities anything to do with "sddm"?

Thanks,
Johannes
