Hi All,
I tried installing LibreOffice 7.0.3 from repository on KDE Neon 20.04 with:
Code: Select all
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-7-0

Code: Select all
sudo apt install libreoffice

After installing it Libreoffice booted with an ugly unreadable interface. I tried rebooting but Libreoffice now doesn't even start.
The worst is that I can't even uninstall it with Synaptic.
However, I tried to reinstall it using the Flatpak version: in this case it seems to work but the Libreoffice theme does not follow the one chosen for the desktop.
What am I doing wrong? Any idea about it?
Thanks in advance

Did you install the package libreoffice-kf5 , which makes it look better in Plasma? This is not installed automatically.
Libreoffice uses it own internal theming, they do have different themes to try/download from within its settings.
You will probably need to change Libreoffice's internal icon theme to either breeze or breeze Dark to get visible icons.

Thank You very much, that was the problem!
By installing the libreoffice-kf5 package now libreoffice seems to work fine. The libreoffice theme also fits the desktop theme (breeze dark)
Thanks again :)
