Since the past few updates... the option in "Configure Icons-only Task Manager" to show/hide the playing audio icon is no longer available
Is there another way of achieving that action?

Mmm... so when I first posted this
only Keyboard Shortcuts and About were configurable
now Appearance and Behaviour are available (as they should be)

Unrelated but at the same time...
that new Disks & Devices service was also displaying too many blank lines on a device
but that is also back to normal behaviour
