Hi since yesterdays update i cannot open any executable files from within dolphin by double clicking. Whether it be native binaries or wine exe files. I have checked the confirmation options in dolphin for executables and that is the same as it has been since i installed Neon

All i get is this error The program <whatever program it is> could not be launched

Edit to this post. All files run as expected by double clicking them using the thunar file manager. When trying to select open with from the context menu i get this error too:
Internal error: could not prompt the user for which application to start

Expected behavour has come back after update on 31st Decemeber
