brightness keys

Fri Jan 08, 2021 6:53 am
Hello!!

I'm new to KDE NEON, I'm still adapting to the style of this Linux distribution, but something has been bothering me a lot and I can't solve it even following tutorials on the internet.
I can't control screen brightness from keyboard shortcuts.
I have a Lenovo Ideapad S145 Notebook and this model has utilities on the function keys (F1, F2, F3), among them is the screen brightness control, and most other shortcuts work normally, except this one.
I tried a youtube solution that added instances to the grub customizer, it was not effective, in addition to having a problem with the toutch pad. I tried to add Lenovo keyboard layout in the settings, but that didn't work.
I also tried to follow videos that added scripts to the keyboard, but I didn't believe it was necessary to just make the brightness keys work, I'm sure there is an easier way that I'm not seeing.
Please help me.
