A major plasma update came in this morning. Some components are labelled 4:5.21.0-0xneon+20.04+focal and others are labelled 5.20.5-0xneon+20.04+focal

What a total mess. My dual screens no longer work, only one screen works but both show in Display Configuration. When I try to move one screen, they both move. Application Launcher immediately crashes, and switching to an alternative is impossible because the popup menu disappears as soon as you try to select something so I had to add the Application Menu, move it then delete the crashing launcher. Even creating a new user and starting with a clean home doesn't fix this mess, and neither does an absolutely clean install from a freshly downloaded spin of neon followed by applying these updates.

Goodness knows what else is b0rked by this update. This isn't a request for assistance because I'm going to have to restore from a backup and disable the neon repo. It's more of a warning to tell people to make sure you have a backup before applying these updates. Your experience may be different, my experience is the poorest I've ever had with neon. Fortunately I'm in the habit of making a backup before applying major updates.
