Hello all,
that happens here every now and then. You search for files via the start menu, which basically works very well. Only sometimes files are displayed in the start menu that have not existed for days. In Dolphin everything is displayed correctly. Krunner reacts the same. The only way to fix this is to delete the Baloo database and reindex 5TB. Does anyone know this issue? Is the start menu or Krunner accessing other data, possibly a cache? KDE Neon 5.21 thanks a lot and best Regards boospy |

By Start Menu you mean Application Launcher, the widget?
When you say " Krunner reacts the same", do you mean the same as Dolphin (ok) or as the menu search launcher? In my case Krunner (and Application Launcher, Application Menu, Application Dashboard) finds only from folders in $HOME but even there it finds no links. (The only thing that krunner does more than the rest is to show "Places".) I seem to have the same problem, trying to read your careless post makes it all the more painful ![]() Related: https://askubuntu.com/q/1227401/925128 https://askubuntu.com/q/1224569/925128 My crossposting: https://askubuntu.com/q/1325401/925128 |

the same as the menu search launcher, the applicaction launcher. It's strange that no one from development has noticed this for so long. It is an annoying behavior after all. Strange how that is connected. I just can't get a picture of it.... Anyway, it's nice that you noticed that too. Thank you. ![]() ![]() |
