panel widgets becoming invisible,

Sun Mar 28, 2021 9:53 pm
This happened about a week ago w/my spotify widget. I deleted it and put it back up as a widget and it's been fine since.

Now it's happening to my Zoom widget (empty space between calculator and spotify widget). When I hover my cursor over that empty space, it tells me that Zoom is still there.

I was going to put a screen shot of this, but the panel doesn't appear in the frame unfortunately.

There is a Zoom widget? Where did you get that?
Or are you just talking about the panel icon in the Task Manager?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

If I right-click on Zoom after it shows up in the search bar, it says "add to panel (widget)". It doesn't really have any widget functions, it's more like a panel icon imo.

That's the info for KDE Neon, it should be the latest one:
