Hey all,
Been messing around with Neon for the past couple days, but this has stumped me. I'm trying to get flicker free boot running properly on my laptop (HP Envy x360, M6-AR004DX) running rEFInd. rEFInd hands off to Neon just fine, no flickering, but halfway through the Plymouth animation the screen blanks out, before the cursor appears, followed by the login screen. Video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7on4JmntNVqq2jCh8 My kernel parameters are this: "root=UUID=(uuid, too lazy to type this out!) ro vt.handoff=7 quiet splash loglevel=3 rd.udev.log_priority=3 systemd.show_status=false fbcon=nodefer vga=current vt.global_cursor_default=0 noirqdebug" Does anyone have any idea why the plymouth seems to be stopping too early? Thanks! |
