Since some time ago, the update notifier daemon won't load automatically at boot-up any more so the icon does not appear in the control panel. it does, however, get loaded after a logout/login. Any suggestion. how I can make it load automatically again?

Sorry guys, could someone please move the above request to 'Software/Workspace'?
