I have just installed KDE Neon 5.22.1 on its own SATA-HDD in a system with Linux Mint 20.1 installed on its own NVMe

KDE seeks LVM encryption key then loads its own BASH screen and starts up and i can login to desktop where i am asked to install the 12 updates, I install them and am prompted for a restart I do this and upon restart am asked to install the same updates again I have done this 4 times and am caught in a loop, the updates are below
