pkcon update and Discover

Sun Jul 04, 2021 5:19 am
Discover indicates "Updates available. (GNOME application platform version 40)"
pkcon, which I normally use tells me "No packages require updating to newer versions"
Should I update with Discover or just ignore it?

pkcon only updates the native packages on your system (debs). Discover also provides for updating Flatpaks and Snap packages as well. The Gnome application platform is a flatpak update.
