Running 5.8.0-59
The default keyboard shortcuts have all disappeared. When I use CTRL-C, it prints C and deletes the selected text. CTRL- click doesn't open hyperlinks. It affects LibreOffice, Kate etc. and is a bloomin' nuisance! Context copy/paste works okay with mouse. I'd be grateful for advice. |

As is so often the way, I've wrestled with this for 2 days. Then, as soon as I start a thread, an idea suddenly dawns.
I switched the keyboard (Cherry KC1000) from a USB 3.0 slot to a 2.0 slot. CTRL + C and CTRL + V worked perfectly. Then I switched back to the original 3.0 slot and they worked there too! Alice in Wonderland stuff. |

Probably disconnecting the keyboard did the trick (i.e. rebooting the keyboard).
Currently running KDE Neon 5.22.5 and 5.19.4 (with Windows 10 in a VM); migrated from Linux Mint 17.3
