Suddenly Esc key stopped working in certain scenarios. Some examples, if I open Ctrl + F in Firefox or KWrite, I cannot use Esc to close the search. The only way is to either click the "x" using the mouse or use Alt + Esc which I discovered by chance and have no idea why it works like this. Do you know what this could be? I can't find any references to something like this online.

Found that resetting keyboard shortcuts to their defaults fixed the issue.
