When I try booting the latest Neon live USB (neon-user-20210806-1520.iso) on my Dell G3 3590 laptop, I just get the following message:

Code: Select all
Failed to open \EFI\BOOT\? - Invalid Parameter
Failed to load image \EFI\BOOT\? - Invalid Parameter
start_image() returned Invalid Parameter

I tried it booting it with secure boot both on and off, and with SATA set both to AHCI and to RAID. I also used the exact same Neon USB drive on an Asus laptop, and it booted without issue. I tested out a bunch of other live USBs on the Dell (including Kubuntu 20.04 and 21.04, Mint 20.2 and Solus 4.3) and they all worked perfectly.

I made post a about the issue on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/kdeneon/commen ... _live_usb/
A few users replied with the same issue, and they were all also on Dell laptops (Latitude E7470, XPS 9560 and 9590, and another G3 3590).

Edit: the problem seems to have begun with the 2021-08-05 image. The most recent one I got to boot was "neon-user-20210729-0944.iso", and it worked perfectly.

The same problem in Intel desktop processors with the image "neon-user-20210806-1520.iso", it can't boot in UEFI mode but does in BIOS mode. It show the following Error with a black screen.

Invalid image
Failed to read header: Unsupported
Failed to load header: Unsupported
start_image() returned Unsupporte

I have installed Kubuntu 21.04 without problems.
