I know that the new plasma-systemmonitor is the way forward. I understand that ksysguard will most likely be phased out. But still, I'm curious as to why ksysguard doesn't present me with the same range of sensors (specifically temperatures, but other things as well) that it used to.

It seems this problem is unique to Neon, as ksysguard is still working the same as always in other distros, including Arch and derivatives, Fedora, Gentoo, openSUSE Tumbleweed, etc.

Have I done something wrong on my end, i.e. removed a necessary package? I do have lm-sensors and all recommended/suggested packages for ksysguard...

I'd just like to know if I can ever expect the full range of sensors to return to ksysguard in the future.
