I'm having a problem with smart quotes in Neon (also Kubuntu), mostly in Chrome, but I think it's occasionally happening elsewhere too.
Single and double smart quotes are being rendered with extra spaces that appear to be part of the character. For example, here's a screen grab from Quora: ![]() The corresponding HTML is ![]() so it's not obvious where the extra spaces are coming from. I can't find any mention of this problem so is it something others have seen? If this is not the right place to ask, where I should have posted this question? TIA, Graham |
