The KDE Version non depend on the kernel to use. That the big difference too MS Windows Operating System. The Linux Kernel is always the base of the system, but you can choose between different type of kernel. Depends on the use case you have. Just install a Package Manager of your choice. With this it`s more easy to find the Package. I personaly recommand muon. You can install it with Discover. Ore you are use the konsol type: sudo apt update&&sudo apt install muon Than with Muon you have a search bar, type there Linux-image. Then you see the different kernel version. Then choose 5.11.0-27 (trust me it does workig), after rebooting you have boot menu, choose other. then there you can choose the new kernel you had install. More information you will find https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel |
