My mouse has an issue that cause to double click when not wanted in KDE neon and because of this, I wanted to change the double click interval to slow it down. However this setting seems to be in a 'advanced' tab in mouse settings, but I don't have it. I have heard about adding some code in
Code: Select all
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/xorg.conf
(which didn't exist on my computer before I did this), but it did absolutely nothing. So is there something I am doing wrong? I would really like to be able to fix this.

Also I don't know if that would help (probably not), but I use a Logitech M510.

Hi, I managed to get the Advanced tab by following this thread.
https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=153755
The last post by OCD should explain what to do.

Hmmm, the only other thing I did was install sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-mouse

you could try that, reboot and check if the advanced tab is available .

Hmmm I'm not sure what's happening then.
I tried it on another computer and it seems to works fine there too.
Add the code to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/xorg.conf
Code: Select all
Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "evdev-mouse"
    MatchIsPointer "yes"
    Driver "evdev"
EndSection

Then install the evdev package
Code: Select all
sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-evdev

Reboot the computer and you should see the advanced tab in Input Devices - Mouse
Not sure why it is not showing on your computer, hopefully someone else can help.
