Firstly sorry - I did take photos of what I’mtalking about but I’ve lost them. I’ll update this post when I get the opportunity to re-take them.
You know the password prompt when you boot up, to decrypt your system volume? In KDE Neon (and in other distros I use like Garuda) it’s entirely plain, in fact it still has my laptop’s manufacturer logo in the middle of it like it was just printed without even clearing the screen. Looks ugly and unprofessional. In PopOS it’s quite a pretty light grey screen with the password prompt in the middle. Anybody know if that’s just a package that I can install on my Neon machine, and if so what it’s called, and how to install it? |
