I have a modem wireless router and two mobile phones. I use the wireless router as a hotspot for my laptop and it works fine, however I can't get the phones working as wireless hotspots. The signal is detected by the laptop and it connects ok, but when I got to browse the Internet pages don't load properly. I'm able to access the Internet on both phones.
Any suggestions? I figured out the answer. In settings on my phones I had to change the APN settings from <isp>.wap to <isp>.iph. I had a similar issue a few years back where I changed the APN from "default" to "default, dun", but that didn't work in this instance.
