I am a newbie user, migrating from Linux Mint.
I've just completed a clean install, not updated yet (3rd attempt - Desktop background dissapears on 1 monitor after update - topic of separate post). I use the cursor application to set my cursor size to 48 Point, and click apply. It sets the size of the cursor but only seems to actually take effect in certain apps, and not on the desktop. In Firefox for example I have a 48 point cursor, but the desktop and Kwrite for example have a 24 point cursor. In Kwrite the cursor jumps in size to 48 when on the application title bar. System Details as follows: Operating System: KDE neon 5.23 KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.11.0-41-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 3 3100 4-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Pro W5700 |

Update: When I allow the system to auto update the issue goes away.
However, I've now lost the desktop background on my 2nd monitor. I'll post a separate query |
