Hello,
Can someone can explain why Discover requires to reboot my computer to update Firefox and firefox-locale-fr (95.0 -> 95.0.1) and Gimp ?? And nothing else ? Firefox is considered as a system update instead of an application update, should explain that but why Firefox is considered as a system update ? Never seen this on other distros ! (Except when updating kernel) Next time this kind of update occurs, I gona try with pkon hoping this one won't ask for a system reboot. |

You can disable the new Offline Updates in System Settings.
This is a new option in Discover, and is actually a feature of Systemd, not KDE or any specific distro. Updating via the command line does not trigger this. Yes, it rather stinks that *all* updates are considered system updates, though I am sure this can change in the future, once there is some sort of method for distros to mark things as system updates as opposed to application updates.
