KDE neon running dual boot with Win 11 on a HP Envy laptop. I have added the Nvidia drivers for the M350 card but have since removed them as a result of this error below..

Been running KDE Neon smoothly for many weeks and just "System updated" last few days to Linux5.11.0-46 from 5.4.0-94.
Since then it will load the grub menu, and then flash the HP logo (as per usual) and then it stays on indefinitely. The desktop will not load. I've tried opening a terminal and using Startx, and it wont budge.
I resorted to getting grub.cfg to load the old kernal and its fine.

Any reason?

Have answered it myself... It's the NVidia drivers - as i suspected... After complete removal - a fully updated KDE NEon with 5.11.0-46 loads an X session .
Hope that helps anyone in the same boat..
