Hi everyone,

Help!! I can't access my system properly after updating and upgrading. I can only do it using IceWM. When I try to log in with X11 (which is what I usually use), it prompts me for my KDE wallet password (which is the same as the login password) and when I enter the password it crashes. Wayland doesn't prompt me for a wallet password, but it crashes. I need my system!!! I'm on a different laptop at the moment.

I just updated and upgraded my system to:

KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.89.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.13.0-28-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11

Only thing I can think of is to further update the system using IceWM, but I have no Internet access and the process for setting it up looks very complicated.

X11 is no longer prompting for the KDE Wallet password. I used IceWM to open KDE Wallet Manager and set it to no password. However, the system is still crashing on login for X11 and Wayland. I think I need to configure wireless networking in IceWM and apply updates, but I've tried it and it isn't working. Is there any way to download the update on a separate machine and apply them locally, without Internet access?

Thanks.

Fixed. Had to perform another update. Did it via IceWM. Had to connect to wifi via nmcli:

Updated via commandline.

Done! Nice to have my system back. Thank god for IceWM!
