I have specific for Neon problem: there is access to the internet via internal laptop modem (sierra em7345). I previously describe this problem here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=174191 Modem connects to the network, obtain ip, gw and dns. There are no errors during connection.

I tested modem with ubuntu 20.04 and kubuntu 20.04 - and it worked well. Both ubuntu and kubuntu have similar installed packages and they versions. I don't have any idea what i need to check else to find the solution.

Any ideas?

Now i can answer to myself: downgrade modemmanager to version 1.12.8-1 resolve the problem.
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install modemmanager=1.12.8-1

and lock update this version to newer:
Code: Select all
echo "modemmanager hold" | sudo dpkg --set-selections
