Hope this is the right forum. Apologies if it isn't
I recently inherited a Dell Latitude 7280 and want to install Neon on it. The install goes smoothly (with the exception that i get a SGX is disabled in BIOS message, which it is). But then on subsequent boots I get to the login screen and can't. A message flashes up very briefly [too quick for me to read], and I am returned to the login screen. I've searched around and I _think_ it might be related the intel SGX, but I've tried the three settings available to me (enabled/disabled/software enabled) in the bios and none of them resolves the issue. I'm a bit of noob, so perhaps the answer is obvious and my searching skills suck... What should I have SGX set to in bios? Is there something else i need to do? What?? I have successfully installed Mate on the same machine (nuke and pave) with the same settings for SGX - really want to give Neon a crack though... Please help |
