hello,
when I'm trying to install kde-neon it always gives me an error. I have had it prepartitioned with 50 gb / swap / aprox. 200 gb but when I tried to install it there it gave an error: "failed to create partition. On this one I tried to replace the partiition. Then I deleted all the paritions with gparted but Neon wouldnt give me an install option but wanted me to manually create one so I did that with gparted again . This time I made one big partition but thats apparently not good either because I got another error. "failed to add partition new partition to device /dev/sde" It does not matter if I choose "replace" or "delete" I keep getting errors. In some situations I dont even get the "delete" option so I have to use "replace" and I dont want to use "alongside" because there is no along side since the drive is all empty now with one partition. I really dont know what it wants from me. It can not add the partition it needs to an empty drive by itself and it can not use a partition that is already there. edt.: I cant add screenshots here? |

My version was from February so I tried it with the last one with the same result but different error:
"The bootloader could not be installed. The installation command
grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck --force /dev/nvme0n1
returned error code 1." Then I installed Kubuntu on the same drive and it worked like a charm. No clue what problem neon has... |
