I am having a new problem perhaps related to my Dolphin with USB sticks problem at viewtopic.php?f=224&t=174897

I am using KDE Neon Plasma 5.24.5 and running Dolphin Version 22.04.0.
I have the problem with this machine, but not others.

When I plug in a headset, namely a Unitek Y-247A, System Settings shows the Microphone info in Audio settings but now fails to open the option for the earphones.

Is there a way to force restoration of a driver?
What ways can I restore its functioning?
