PC can't wake up after suspend mode

Mon Jun 06, 2022 8:31 am
I have some issues after the last upgrade of KDE Neon on this week.
The PC can't wake up correctly after suspend mode. Screen is black, fans are working, keyboard and mouse not responding. Can use only hard reboot.

I'm using KDE Neon for two years but have this issue for the first time. Any idead what could be wrong?

System info:
Operating System: KDE neon 5.24
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0
Kernel Version: 5.13.0-44-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Xeon® CPU E5450 @ 3.00GHz
Memory: 7.8 Gb of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti/PCIe/SSE2

Hi,
I've got this problem for the longest time.
Seems to be related to nvidia driver and the linux kernel driver.
At least according to this link at nvidia: https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/b ... /184644/69

they say: "We will be debugging issue on our local setup and will keep updated on it." but that dates from 17 fev. 2022.

they only "workaround" that I've got is when I run "sudo pm-suspend". That seems to work.

Thank you. Probably, yes.
I've got some automatic kernel updates and reinstalled nvidia driver to version 470.129. It is working now.
