Hello Everyone,

i use KDE neon User Edition 5.24. Some days ago an update took place and after the reboot my windows didn't have borders anymore :( . I don't exactly know what to do now nor what happened to break this function. Is it the windowmanager who is missing?

I tried to login with another user to see, if the error is user-based or systemwide. Sadly it is systemwide.

May someone help me please?

During the time of waiting for a reply here at the forum, I've searched the web for knowledge what to do in similar cases. I found out, that the kwin package must have been the problem. I reinstalled the kwin dummy package and afer a reboot the borders were there again. The case could be closed.
