This error has repeatedly occurred whilst performing the guided installation.
I have attempted to redownload the .iso and have attempted the install multiple times. Thank you in advance |

Have you tried using a different tool to create the USB?

Not OP but I have the same issue and I've tried balenaEtcher and dd from a linux terminal. Both the same results. I haven't tried with another edition though. EDIT: also tried with the unstable edition and same outcome. Installed kubuntu after without an issue, but I would like to install KDE neon in the future I hope it gets fixed |

iirc, ISO images are rebuilt weekly, so perhaps the next build may work?
While it is a problem that the Unstable/Developer ISOs are having issues, are these versions even useful, considering that they have the most volatile, raw testing code directly from git that isn't even at a beta or alpha level? This likely includes the installer.
I assume that User and testing install fine?

User Edition install is fine.
Developer edition is using the currently unreleased version 3.3.0 of the installer calamares so maybe a bug in that, although I couldn't see it on their issue tracker. As advised on the calamares issue tracker I have reported it on the KDE tracker first Bug #455714

Today's Developer Edition ISO installs OK (neon-developer-20220627-1851.iso which uses calamares 3.3.0-alpha1)
