Hi,

I see some slowdowns (freezes) in GKT+ and Qt applications. Firefox, Clementine, for example, from what I remember. The trail of slowdowns was given to me on the KDE neon Telegram. I say slowdowns (freezes of the interface), because some actions were still allowed, so I was able to close the application cleanly each time and restart it immediately. It's not a problem for Firefox, nor for Clementine: I got my sessions back.

However, I'd like to fix this problem, if there's a way. Where do I start to try to find the solution?

I thought it might be the Ndivia proprietary driver I'm using. Do you think I should be looking on that side?

Thanks for any help.

Well, since the 15th, until the 19th of this month, no freeze like I had before. New does the job well. On the other hand, once I had some graphical glitches in Firefox. I was able to close it, and restart it, and everything was ok. So I'm fine with that.

If you have had freezes or flicker in other apps does it look like in the video in this bug report:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456608
If it's like very slow refresh rate it could be the same bug. If it happens again to Firefox try playing some youtube video, and try if it starts playing smoothly if you're moving the window.
